Waste Disposal
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (BDBC) is responsible for the collection of household waste in Hurstbourne Priors. Full details of the council's services, which include the collection of bulky items, are to be found on its website.
Householders are required to place their refuse bin or sacks on the edge of their property nearest the road by 7am on their collection day.
BDBC supply black/grey wheeled bins, either large (240 litre) or small(140 litre) for the collection of non-recyclable household waste and these are collected weekly, normally on a Monday.

BDBC supply large (240 litre) green wheelie bins for the collection of household recyclable items which are collected fortnightly, normally on a Monday.

If there is problem or delay with collections, information may be found on the B&D web site at basingstoke.gov.uk/service-updates.

Bulky Items can be collected by BDBC at a cost of £10. Telephone 01256 845474 for more details or visit the website.
